Wien Museum Takeover.
Vienna’s love letter to street art and skate culture.

Before closing for renovation, Wien Museum handed its stripped-back galleries to Vienna’s street artists and skaters as a living experiment in urban culture. The building was divided into a DIY zone and a “Hall of Fame,” where more than 30 artists occupied the walls and recycled exhibition furniture into a functioning skate park. The project blurred the lines between vandalism and art, nuisance and culture, recasting these subcultures as engines of urban energy, tourism, and participation in public space.

Across 2.5 months of programming, I documented the full journey of the takeover, from major events to intimate artist profiles.
